2004 AIB Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland Sevens

A hard fought victory for an Ollie Canning inspired Portumna over pre-tournament favourites Mullinahone crowned a marvellous Kilmacud Crokes Festival of Hurling in Stillorgan on 11th September. 

The winners were presented with the AIB Cup and vouchers for 12 Louis Copeland suits.  US Ambassador James C Kenny who is turning out to be quite a hurling aficionado threw in the ball to commence proceedings. 

The Shield competition for teams from non-traditional counties saw Setanta beat their Donegal rivals Burt Hibernians by 2-6 to 1-6 sparking ecstatic celebrations. 

The under 13 competition was won by Durlas Og while the National   Schools tournament on Friday saw St Colmcilles of Knocklyon triumph over St Laurence’s of Kilmacud.
