Setanta Sports broadcast a programme on the 2008 Sevens on Monday 15 September at 7pm (repeated on Tuesday 16th at 11:35pm).
Nenagh Éire Óg are 2008 Sevens Senior Champions
A thrilling second half, following a tense opening half, saw Nenagh Eire Óg beat near neighbours Portroe by 3-20 to Portroe 4-10 to lift the Meteor Cup. The rain held off, with only the odd shower to worry the assembled masses. The final was a fitting finale to what had been an excellent day of hurling at Glenalbyn in South County Dublin
Castleblayney win Shield
In the Shield Competition Castleblaney of Monaghan beat Setanta of Donegal 5-09 to5-04.
Earlier Castleblayney beat Naomh Moninne by 5-07 to 3-04, while Burt Hibernians lost out to Setanta 6-14 to 4-09.
Midleton win U13s Competition
Ballyboden St. Enda's took on Midleton in the Under 13 Final. After a close 1st half Midleton won out in the end by 3-09 to 1-02

Despite the bad weather and the monsoon-like conditions on the eve of the 2008 All Ireland Sevens, it's all systems go in Kilmacud Crokes!
Due to the inclement weather the venue for the group stages of the Under 13 competition was changed from Deerpark to the All Weather Sports complex in UCD. The nearest entrance to the complex is from the Clonskeagh Road.
